“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” (Matthew 28: 6)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, the Angel of the Lord told the women that Jesus was risen, as He said. Jesus said it, and it came to pass. He brought their attention to the fulfillment of what Jesus said. So, the word of the Lord came to pass. They forgot the word, but the Lord did not forget to bring His word to pass. They lost sight of what the Lord said, but the Lord did not lose sight of what He said. The resurrection of Jesus was prophecy fulfilled.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: this is the season of the fulfillment of prophecy. Every word of the Lord concerning your life is being fulfilled. Every prophecy about your rising is being fulfilled. Every word concerning your tomorrow is being fulfilled. Every word concerning your fulfillment of destiny, is being fulfilled. Every word concerning the mandate of heaven on your life, is being fulfilled. God’s word is being fulfilled.
Has the Lord said that none shall lack her mate? Has the Lord said you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works? Has the Lord said that He would bless you, and the ends of the earth shall fear Him? Has the Lord said He will make your enemies your footstool? Has the Lord said He will help you, and right early? Has the Lord said you will bear rule in the midst of your enemies? God’s word is coming to pass speedily.
The death of Jesus may have seemed irreversible, but His word concerning His resurrection was always going to come to pass. Sometimes, realities would suggest that the word of the Lord will not come to pass, but it’s all lies. If God said it, it will come to pass. If it is His word, He will bring it to pass. If He said it, no devil is devil enough to stop it from being fulfilled. If it is His word, He has the capacity to make it come to pass, no matter the realities.
Align with the word of the Lord. It doesn’t matter how difficult it seems; if it is God’s word, it will come to pass.
Isaiah 55: 11 says: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Declare With Me: God’s word concerning me is coming to pass, in Jesus’ name!
