DIVINELY AVENGED (11-10-2026)

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” (Luke 18: 7)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus speaks of how God Himself will avenge His own elect, who cry unto Him day and night. Jesus made mention of how God will judge in favour of His own elect, who call upon Him day and night. Literally, Jesus inferred that those who depend on God and call on Him for answers, will be answered. Jesus inferred that even God is inclined to do good to those who call on Him. Jesus said, God will avenge His elect.

Friend, if you are God’s elect, then be sure that God will judge in your favour. God will judge against every affliction and His judgement will be in your favour. God will judge against every wickedness and conspiracy against you. God will judge against the satanic roadblocks set in your way. God will judge against the rulers of the darkness of this world. God will judge against spiritual wickedness coming against you from high places.

By Jesus’ affirmation, the elect of God, the chosen people of God, are entitled to be avenged by God. Put differently, God is under obligation to fight for those who are called by His name. If you have been called by the name of God, and if you have accepted the Lordship of Jesus over your life, then you are God’s elect, and you qualify amongst those whom God will avenge for. God will arise and avenge on your behalf.

The word ‘avenge’ is the root of the word ‘vengeance’. So, Jesus inferred that God is committed to executing vengeance on behalf of His people. You may not have all it takes to fight all your battles; you may not have all it takes to take on all your adversaries; but you serve a God who has a commitment to dispense vengeance to everything and everyone against you. God will clip the wings of those who are against you.

Welcome to that season where El Roi will execute vengeance to those who are against you. Welcome to that season where the vengeance of God will decimate every opposition against you.

Romans 12: 19 says: “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”

Declare With Me: The Lord will execute vengeance on my behalf, in Jesus’ name!
